Ronald Bewley BA, PhD, FASSA consults for PF2 on special projects, including in the application of economic and statistical techniques to the risks associated with and suitability of certain complex financial products for investment purposes; the appropriateness of advice rendered; and the analysis of product pricing against comparable products. Earlier in his career Ron was the Head of Quantitative Research and Investment Strategy at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA), and subsequently the Chief Investment Officer for Private Client Services. Prior to his time at the CBA, Ron held various professorial roles at the University of New South Wales, including as Head of the School of Economics and as Head of the Department of Econometrics. Ron earned his undergraduate degree with 1st class honours in Economics, Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Sheffield in the UK. He completed his PhD in Economics at the University of New South Wales.
